So if you are checking out this page, you probably already know a bit about who I am and what I do, but here is a little refresher.
I am currently in my 4th year of Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly and am definitely loving it! I have recently found a passion in the biomed field and, while I am going to finish out my degree in mechanical engineering, I plan to emphasize in biomed if I get a masters. Once I am out of school I hope to work within the biomed field.
I have always hoped to use my engineering degree to aid developing countries and God is opening a lot of doors to that end right now. Engineering World Health has really given me the opportunity to help developing countries. Ultimately I would like to use my engineering expertise in a non-profit organization whose goal is to assist developing nations.
Outside of school I am involved in Campus Crusade and leading a second year bible study. I definitely LOVE my girls and it has been such a blessing for me! I also have a recently-found passion for line-dancing and have been pretty consistent in attending this quarter. And when I am not doing anything else I love to hike the hills around SLO county and play my guitar.
